Brown eggs gathered from pastured, hormone free, and antibiotic free chickens. About Us We are Raccoon Forks Farms, a small chemical free farm just outside of Redfield, Iowa. We formed the farm in the spring of 2009 with 100 laying hens and 1.5 acres in vegetable production. Our first season we had so much fun and support that we have expanded our chicken coop to accomadate 200 laying hens and are expanding our vegetable production with the addition of a small greenhouse and hopefully a hightunnel. We have put a lot of care and hard work into our farm and believe our products show it. Thank you for your patronage. Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients Our chickens are Bovine Browns. Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) Our chickens are pastured during the day and housed in their coop at night. They are given no added hormones or antibiotics. We add organic buckwheat to their feed to enrich their diet and the taste of our eggs.
